Turning this way, turning that way

06.11.2009

No doubt there are a-zillion-and-five things to do this weekend but one to shuffle up your agenda is a visit to Craft Vic - to see the Show Shoe, and particularly to see the wondrous small works on paper by Gracia & Louise. Their new exhibition is titled, A Key to Help Make Your Own World Visible.

It's possible that you've already seen it 'cause you went to the opening and had a glass of wine but the glass of wine went straight to your head and you couldn't tell if the leopard was coming or going - and, in fact, the answer is both - so you left with your red face turned down, and crept into Cumulus to devour the salad that your friend is so obsessed with... In which case, you MUST go back.

Plus, a customer-in-the-know tells us that Gracia and Louise keep returning themselves, every couple of days or so, to turn the leaves of their handmade books over, so no two trips are ever the same.

Speaking of books, and if it happens to be that you don't have a great deal planned for tomorrow, why not pop into Milly Sleeping and pick up a Melbourne Design Guide - this will sort you out for double-sided adventures in no time.
