Just stepped out on a bank/post/lunch run, and what a mad world it is out there...
So many things to avoid – the portable air-con units in the bank, and the teller who I’m sure associates me with a bad day because once someone in front of me accused him of skimming fifty dollars … Spruikers and the girl in the floral dress on a bike without a helmet … The heat! The heat! … Any one of twelve orange-vested construction units currently drilling into Carlton street corners … Plastic containers in the sushi shop, and nearly buying a box of Hello Panda chocolate biscuits to consume in less time than in takes to read this post.
Aren’t I glad to be safely back inside where it’s cool and calm?
